After 27 years operating at every tier of the technology sector—from the front-lines of technical support through to corporate change management and global enterprise strategy—I left the corporate world behind to become a full-time writer. To the outside observer, a career spanning from hard-coded AI risk and control systems to the atmospheric depths of Gothic fiction looks like a contradiction. In reality, it is my greatest asset.
